Itinerary

Day 1 – MALAGA AIRPORT – COSTA DEL SOL

Upon arrival, you go to the rental office to pick up your vehicle and drive to the hotel. Costa del Sol is one of the most famous beach resorts in Europe. Overnight.

Day 2 – COSTA DEL SOL – NERJA – GRANADA – 200 Km

Driving east along the Mediterranean Sea you arrive in Nerja where a Prehistoric Cave is located; around Almuñécar the subtropical fruits are produced and then driving along the Lecrín Valley you head to Granada. Overnight.

Day 3 – GRANADA – CORDOBA – 200 Km

The Palace of the Alhambra and the Gardens of the Generalife are the highlights of Granada that were designated World Heritage Sites; to stroll in the Old Quarter is like going back to medieval times, on your own you have the chance to admire the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, the Carthusian Monastery and some other monuments.

Then you head to Cordoba. Overnight.

Day 4 – CORDOBA – SEVILLE – 150 Km

Cordoba’s highlight is the Mosque – Cathedral, monument designated a World Heritage Site; besides we should remark the Old Jewish Quarter with its Synagogue built during the medieval times. It is worthy to visit the Palacio de Viana and some other places such as Corredera Square and Potro Square.

Leave to Seville. Overnight.

Day 5 – SEVILLE – City tour

Seville is the most emblematic city of Andalusia. Please visit the Park of Maria Luisa and its Spain Square, then leave to the old district of the city and stroll through the Santa Cruz Quarter; The Cathedral and the Alcazar or Fortress were designated World Heritage Sites; walk up to the Guadalquivir River see the Golden Tower and the Maestranza, which probably is the bullring most renamed in Spain.

A stay in Andalusia is not completed if you don’t attend to a flamenco show. Overnight.

Day 6 – SEVILLE – JEREZ – 150 Km

Jerez is the city where the world-famous Sherry wine is produced and the purebred Spanish horses are trained and its fame is known around the world. Some days of the week there are a fantastic horse show that it is worthy to attend it. The town has some other monuments such as the walls, the Cathedral and some churches. The visit to Jerez is not completed without to visit a Sherry wine cellar, making one sample of wine at the end of the visit. Overnight.

Day 7 – JEREZ – ARCOS – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL – 250 Km

Drive to the nice town of Arcos that has a remarkable site on top of a crag overlooking a loop on the Guadalete River. The Old Town, right at the top of the rock is located around the walls of the Castle of the Dukes of Arcos.

Driving along the White Villages Route you will arrive in Ronda which is located on a platform site cut by the Guadalevín River ravine with a depth of 150 metres. The ravine divides the city in two: the old and the modern part. The best bird’s eye view is from the New Bridge. The Old Part has narrow and picturesque streets with typical ironwork balconies. There is also a Collegiate Church.

According to the legend, Ronda is the birthplace of bullfighting and it has one the oldest and most beautiful bullrings of Spain built in 1785.

From there you leave to Costa del Sol. Overnight.

Day 8 – COSTA DEL SOL – DEPARTURE

You will never forget the stunning beaches of the Costa del Sol. Drive to the airport, drop off the car at the rental office, then you do the check in, security and passport formalities and depart to your next destination.
