Itinerary

Day 1- ARRIVAL AT MALAGA AIRPORT

Arrival to the capital of Costa del Sol where the guide will welcome you. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 – MALAGA – GRANADA – 150 Km

Malaga is known as the “city of flowers” for its marvellous gardens and because you may find flowering species all year around. You admire its most relevant monuments from outside; some of its avenues and streets are decorated with different trees and plants. The centennial Paseo (Promenade) its proud to have one of the best collections of tropical and subtropical species of the Iberian Peninsula. In the Botanic Garden, you may go around the world in 80 trees.

Then you leave to Granada. Overnight.

Day 3 – GRANADA – City tour

You will admire the Palace of the Alhambra, designated a World Heritage Site and the Generalife Gardens, which are the highlights of the city; the irrigation system built by the Arabs is still working nowadays. Inside of the Palace you see the Romantic Forest and El Partal Gardens.

In the quarter of Albaicin, the former Arabian district till the 15C you will also visit a private “Carmen”, which is a walled garden that imitate to the “Firdaws” or Paradise for the Muslim people. Time at leisure. Overnight.

Day 4 – GRANADA – CORDOBA – 175 Km

Cordoba was designated a World Heritage City; concerning the monuments we must remark the Mosque and the medieval Jewish Quarter besides some other places. Close to the Mosque you see one of the oldest walled gardens in Europe dating back to the 8C.

Then you visit the Palace of Viana’ Prince that has 11 courtyards with gardens of Renaissance and Baroque style. Return to the hotel.

Time at leisure to discover the city on your own. Overnight.

Day 5 – CORDOBA – SEVILLE – 175 Km

You visit the Botanic Garden of Cordoba, which is one of the best in Spain. The garden displays plants from the whole world, but also autochthonous Iberian plants in greenhouses.

Then you head to Seville driving on the motorway. Free time. Overnight.

Day 6 – SEVILLE – 20 Km

Seville is the most emblematic city of Andalusia. You visit the Parque de Maria Luisa designed by a French gardener, the you go to Jardines de Murillo and the gardens of El Prado de San Sebastian; from then you get into the Old Quarter, nowadays known as Barrio de Santa Cruz where there are beautiful private courtyards full of flowers.

Then you see the Cathedral and the Alcazar or Fortress, both monuments designated World Heritage Sites; inside the Alcazar and next the Palace of Pedro the First we remark gardens of Mudejar style in several courtyards, a labyrinth of cypress and a garden of English style. Return to the hotel.

Free time to discover the remainder of the city on your own. Overnight.

Day 7 – SEVILLE – JEREZ – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL – 300 Km

You leave to Jerez, which is the capital of the Sherry Wine; you will visit a cellar, which produces this world-famous wine.

From there you head to the inner part of the country towards the beautiful city of Ronda. You do walk along the Gardens of the Alameda then descending towards the gardens of the Palace of the Arab Kings. You also see some other interesting places of Ronda.

From there you head to Costa del Sol. Overnight.

Day 8 – MALAGA AIRPORT AND DEPARTURE

Time at leisure till transfer to the airport where you make all the formalities to board the plane to your next destination.
