Itinerary

Day 1 – ARRIVAL AT BARCELONA AIRPORT

Upon arrival to the airport you will be welcome by the Gamma Tours guide and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 – BARCELONA CITY TOUR AND PARK GÜELL

Panoramic tour of the city for the most interesting places of Barcelona such as Paseo de Gracia, Basilica of the Holy Family, Roman Walls, Gothic Quarter, Montjuic Hill, several Modernist Style Buildings, some of them designated World Heritage Sites.

Visit the Park Güell designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi in Modernist Style. Barcelona is one of the most visited European Cities. Overnight.

Day 3 – BARCELONA – BLANES – BARCELONA – 180 Km

Departure to Blanes to walk and admire two Botanic Gardens located at the sea shore. Visit the two more important botanical gardens of the southern part of the Costa Brava. The oldest one was founded in 1924 located in a privilege place and it has more than 4,000 species of flowers and plants.

The second one was designed in 1945. According some botanist its collection of opuntias is the most important of the world.

Return to Barcelona. Overnight.

DAY 4 – BARCELONA – PARKS AND GARDENS – 50 Km

Visit to a park founded ending the 18th century designed by an Italian architect and a French gardener; it was enlarged in the 19th century being redesigned in a more romantic style in labyrinth style. It is the oldest park in Barcelona.

Then you will also visit the three gardens located close each other on the Montjuic Hill, designed by a French gardener. These three gardens are completely different. Here was founded the first Gardener School in Spain. In this area, there is also de Botanic Garden. Overnight.

Day 5 – BARCELONA – PARKS AND GARDENS – 50 Km

Visit to a park which construction began in the second half of the 19 C. It also has a large greenhouse for tropical plants, an artificial lake and a waterfall.

Later, you can admire a garden, originally designed by a French architect on the 19 C, turning it in a Classical style with a decorative layout in geometrical forms. Time at leisure. Overnight.

Day 6 – BARCELONA – GARDENS ON THE COSTA BRAVA – 300 Km

Additional day available all year around except in January and February

From Barcelona, you head to one off the peaceful place along the coast. Visit a botanic garden, which goes down in terraces to the seaside in a hidden place. The other part of the gardens is set in a natural amphitheatre in a platform 50 meters over the sea level. They were designed in Italian Renaissance lines.

On the way back to Barcelona you stop in Lloret de Mar to visit Santa Clotilde Garden located in a corner in amphitheatre shape designed in Italian Renaissance Style. Some years ago, were redesigned importing plants from Italy. Return to Barcelona. Overnight.

Day 7 – DEPARTURE FROM BARCELONA

Time at leisure till transfer to the airport; you do the formalities for boarding the plane to your next destination.
